I have an AGP slot , im NOT gong to buy a new computer i just want my games to run better (BF2, Elder Scrolls IV, FEAR i have an ATI Radeon x700 pro and its not cut'in it. to my knowledge the best AGP cards u can get are the ATI Radeon x850xt pe (AGP) and Nvidia Geforce 7800gs (AGP) which do u suggest?

Well, if you're serious about playing your games, then the only option really is to switch to PCI-ex16. AGP8x is just too slow. If you're going to blow a couple hundred bucks on a video card, blow a few hundred and really see a difference.

Yea, I'd go PCI-E... I have the x850, and for some reason my mobo isnt recognizing the AGP8x... I have the support enabled in the bios, but the Catalyst isn't even allowing me to goto 2x

The x850 however runs amazing on my brother's AGP computer. Good card if it's working properly
