a few days ago windows became mysteriously corrupted so i decided to reformat my C: the problem is that now i cant connect to the internet. I have gone through all the different networking and internet wizards and none of them do anything. could someone possibly point me in the right direction as to what i should do? I have dsl and its working fine, (im on my sisters comuter). when i launch IE i get a message that tells me to connect or continue working offline. any help would be appreciated.

each of those yellow question marks corresponds to a device that no longer has a driver...(since you formatted)...you need to dl the drivers for each of those...i suggest starting with your NIC card...as that will get you back on the internet.

http://www.geekstogo...tion=show&id=13 download that (Everest home edition) and run it on the offending machine..it will tell you every device attached to the machine...then yo ujust go to the manufacturer's website and get the most current drivers...of course..if this is a dell or hp or something like that...you can go to their website and enter your model number (or service tag number for the dell) and it will take you to a list of all devices and drivers for the system.
