Running Windows XP SP2, how do i partiton my hard drive?
Went to computer management > Disk Management and stuck what to do from there. Am I on the right track?

Your main drive (it is already partitioned), a new drive? What?

sry a new drive. I want to split my C:/. Have a C:/ and another, D:/ for example. Did that make sense?

then it is not a new drive.
You cannot use windows inbuilt tools to split a current drive, which requires shrinking a partition and then creating a new one
Partition Magic can do it, as can Parted, a linux clone of Partition Magic
