Lately a lot of different games have been causing my computer to crash. This crash occurs about 15-20 seconds into playing the game. All of a sudden the screen freezes but the sound keeps playing for about another 10 seconds, then my actual monitor turns itself off! Then it comes back on, leaving the screen all jumbled and chopped up and the sound either repeats itself or becomes distorted. This happens in games like: Morrowind, Age of Empires 3, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Empire Earth 2, Battlefield 1942, 2 & Vietnam. All of which shouldn't have much of a problem playing on my system.

My specs are: - 3.4ghz Intel Pentium 4
- 256mb Radeon X800XT
- 512mb RAM
- 200gb HDD

Can anyone help? It's much appreciated! :whistling:

if its doing it across the board then I lean toward a hw issue. If you have another video card handy try that. also make sure you remove the video drivers, reboot and then install the latest video drivers. By doing a clean install of the video drives it may help as well.
