Slow computer and cant dl software

My son has ME his pc is very slow, I cant dl any software. Not sure where or how to solve this or fix this.

Hi:

Can you give a little more information? The procedures you are using, what you are using to DL software, why you think the PC is slow, what type of Internet connection do you use, what size file are you trying to DL, things like this?

Probably missed a question.

Its just slow running and shows it has a lot of space on the pc but when you go to install software it says there isnt enough space We also can not dl things like flash etc.
