I was reading this topic,

Ok, My computer is working fine, it doesnt seem to be working slow, but i just wanna make sure my comp isnt infected, the only thing odd about my computer is that the backround won't change from its medium-light blue color.

... Now I'm getting worried now, since i first repaired the Wininet.dll file. my computers lags and loads significantly slower, when a play an online game called, EverQuest2.

I'm not trying to be rude, or put my self in front of others. but of course, I'm not putting up on the boards for unsolved Logs (over 3 days) but tommorow i will!.

But out of true respect, please help.

I want to make sure I understand, you ran the smitrem program? When you say you replaced your wininet.dll ....what do you mean? When you ran the smitrem fix? I really don't see anything in your hijack this log that should be causing any problems. Let me look further. :whistling:

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.
