I've been away awhile - real life caught up with me for a bit. Looks like the forum software has been updated.

I am getting scroll bars within posts:

Is there any way to get rid of these and show the entire post? 'Options/Display Mode' does not seem to do it.

Hi ddeerrff...

Are you accessing the page with the scrollbars by searching a members posts?

Not accessing through any kind of search - just clicking on down through the forums and posts.

In this case, I open this topic from 'Control Panel / View Topics / Current Subscriptions' and my original post shows the scroll bars.

You must be very special...I can't get mine to do that unless I search a member's posts. I just tried every setting I could click on. :whistling:

Maybe the monkey knows...I'll ask.

:whistling: I can't duplicate that either. What version of Netscape are you using?

Still using Netscape 7.02. I'm resistant to change :whistling:

That must be the problem. I do not get the scroll bars in IE.

As a comparison, SWI looks like it is using the same board version as here (IPB 2.1.5). I do not get the scroll bars there.

I downloaded Netscape 7.02 and still couldn't duplicate it.

Maybe it'll come to me in a dream. :whistling:

Looks like it is skin related. If I use G2G default, the scroll bars go away. If I use IPB 2.1 Default, they come back.

I tried that with no effect what-so-ever. :whistling:

That I can duplicate! Only using the IPB default skin, viewing with Netscape, and with long posts (i.e. HJT log).

Weird that the mostly unmodified skin has issues. I'll see what I can figure out. :whistling:
