If this is in the wrong area please move.

I just cleaned my system of an about:blank problem last week, but now all incoming e-mail attachments on my Hotmail account are showing the following messages:

"Unknown virus scanner failure Virus Found"

and

"Note: There is no cure available for the virus on the file GYPSUM_ISSUE1_050125.pdf

It is not possible to download files from Hotmail that contain incurable viruses. Contact the originator of the file, inform them that the file contains a virus, and ask them to send a virus-free version of the file."

GYPSUM_ISSUE1_050125.pdf is just an example of an attachment

If it was just the new files I would call McGraw Hill and tell them they are sending corrupted files, but now all old saved attachments are giving the same messages. Hotmail scans with Trend Micro.

Any suggestions on who I should be contacting or where I should be looking? We depend on these e-mail attachments for job leads, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tommy
