an x1600 pro would be a downgrade.

Hardly anything is found on x1600pro benchmarks but I did find one. Its the only one out right now with real in game performance.

The nvidia 6600gt is faster than the x1600pro in all of these games but x3.

How much cash you got to spend, also if they do replace your card under warranty then what are you going to do with the 6800?

You might just be able to get an X1800GTO for that, or you can get an x850XT for £150, Going down the x800GTOs are a pretty good deal you can get the 16 pipeline GTO for under a 100, which would be more of a sideways step, the x850 would be an upgrade though so would the x1800. You might also be able to get a 7600GT but the cheaper ones arent about yet.

x1800GTO for 150ish? where?? overclocking potential there.

Cant believe the x1600 Pro is so bad, its worse than a 6600GT in most cases

The 6600gt beats it in every benchmarked game but X3: Reunion the game.

I dont know why some people in other forums still says the x1600pro is better lmfao because its not..

I dont go on any otherforums, to many "hardcore" geeks for me that like to think they know more than they do. This is the only site that ive found with such a great atmosphere, but we pick our staff well.
