So I've had the firewall off for months now, and have intended to keep it that way for the sake of p2p.

But then a few days ago it just apparently turned itself on for no apparent reason and when I try to access its settings from the Control Panel I get the error "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings"

Is it because of a virus?

What can I do to disable it?

When you open security centre and click the word firewall at the top, does it drop down to say which firewall is on?
