Hi, Im working on a friends laptop again, The dell instiron 1100. Well i am giving him linux on it (knoppix) but how do i get full screen with linux i dont thing dell has drivers for linux. Why do they make such crappy computers that cant go full screen by them selves?

So is there a way like in the bios that i could get full screen?
