Covert Analog Cassette Tape

I have a brief conversation on a standard cassette tape that I want to convert to the PC and make it digital (WAV or MP3, prefered MP3).

Anyway, I have standard cassette player with ear plug option. I purchased a cable from Radio Shack with the red color and was told to plug it in the back of PC into the red port.

So, how do I do the transfer.

Any advice?
