New motherboard: ASRock939 DualSATA2

I attached the front panel audio connectors to the connector on my board. Yes, they are wired correctly.

The front panel audio only seems to work when I use the AC'97 sound. When I put my Audigy2 ZS in...It will only emit sounds through the headphone. There are a pair of jumpers right next to the audio connector on the mobo that control if the front/rear audio connectors should be operation labeled JL1,JR1 I believe. I've been messing around with these jumpers for the past hour trying to see what would work.

Can I do anything about it to make the front audio port work with my SB Audigy2?

I suggest referring to your motherboard manual for instructions on the jumpers.

Front Panel audio is usually tied to the onboard sound and unless the separate sound card has appropriate standoffs on it to accommodate front panel audio (quite a lot of them don't) then there's not a lot you can really do about it, unfortunately.
