Best flatscreen for around $400?

I need to buy a flatscreen for when I go to school. I do a fair amount of PC gaming, so I want something that will look nice. Also, I recently got an xbox 360, and seeing as I don't have an HDTV, it would be nice to use the monitor for that as well. Problem is, I don't really have much more than $400 to spend ($450 pretax would be about the highest I would go). Any suggestions?
