Why are my music files disappearing from the harddrive , it doesn't matter weather they were downloaded or ripped to PC.

1) because someone is erasing them
2) because your harddrive is failing

are you sure they're disapearing or are they just being put somehwere y ou don't know about? do a file search for *.mp3 (or whatever format the songs are in)
