no turn off button

along with not having a task manager, i dont have a turn off button, you know the button when u click start. I only have a log off button, so the only way to turn off my computer is to log off and then turn off at the windows screen. how can i get my turn off button back?? and is the only way to get task manager back is to install windows agian?

Do you have onboard graphics enabled with a seperate video card installed

If you press the ctrl + alt + delete keys together, do you get task manager

Have you got the XP CD
