Battery on laptop does not charge all the way

The battery on my laptop does not fully charge. It only charges to 59% and does not charge any further. Is there anything I can do to charge my battery all the way.

depends on who you believe...what kind of battery is it?

This is what I would do, reboot your computer and drop into bios and leave it unplugged until the battery goes completely dead.

Don't wait for windows to shut down, it will shut down too early

Once completely dead, give it a good overnight charge and cross your fingers
