My friend is looking to upgrade his graphics card. Right now he has a 256MB ATI Radeon X600 Hypermemory. He is looking at either the 512MB ATI X1600 or the 256MB nVidia GeForce 7900GT. Which one would you recommend? :whistling:  P.S. Any other upgrades would be helpful! :help:

My Friend's computer:
Dell XPS 400
Intel Pentium D @ 3.0GHz
ATI 256MB Radeon X600 Hypermemory
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
1GB DDR2 memory @ 533MHz
500GB harddrive with Raid 0 (performance)
Dell 19" Ultrasharp LCD moniter
Dual Drives: DVD-RW, CD-RW
Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition
Dell 5.1 Surround sound speaker system
Dell USB keyboard+USB optical mouse

What it really comes down to is your opinion as to which one is better. Use reviews to help make that decision. Google is your friend for that. Since he has ATI already, he may want to stay with it to alleviate possible driver conflicts if he goes to Nvidia. If you use Driver Cleaner to clean previous drivers, that is not really a problem.
