wireless connection

I need some help I have a zyxel g-200v2 wireless antenna and I can pull a wireless connection from a motorola wireless cable modem and it sometiems stays connected and sometimes it will show connection but i wont be able to pull a webpage. and with that said my labtop can pull the same strength and gets a constant connection. is there anything in the antenna or the pc i might need to change?
