My computer is frequently freezing up when I start it up so I'm thinking it must be something in the registry. Here's my log and thanks for the help.

Welcome to Geeks to Go awyman!

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection.

Apply the update, reboot, and please follow the recomendations here.

Move HiJack This to a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible (it's currently running from your desktop).

Make sure you are disconnected from the Internet and all windows and programs are closed and run HiJack This again. Post your new HiJackThis log and someone will be along ASAP to help you clean your system!
