My first post so I hope you can help.
Basically when I turn on the PC and go to My Computer, both the CD drive (D:) and RW drive have disappeared!
How do I restore/fix this?
I didnt remove them myself by the way.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for this. However, the icon now reads as a DVD drive instead of CD and doesnt recognise a cd.
Any other thoughts.

Check for firmware updates but only install any which are exactly for the drives you have
