Had epson printer driver problems which i eventually solved by downloading the drivers off the internet. I have since changed printers to a H/P and have removed the majority of epson software off my computer. But i still have 2 epson files on my desktop which will not delete or uninstall.

they are : epson19787eu
epson10884

When trying to delete them it says , it cannot because it is being used by another person or program.
This is impossible because i have no other epson products on the computer.

I am using Windows XP

You can try in safemode

(reboot and tap f8 during boot up, then choose safe mode)

you can use killbox to delete files on reboot

It is very odd that those two files would be locked

have you tried removing them in safe mode (press f8 during boot, you will get a list of startup options...choose safe mode)
