in the Other OS's forum there should me a subforum one called Mac OS, and the other Linux OS's, and another one for any other OS's, becuses if your just an expert for linux, you dont have to clik on each topic to find wich linux forum u can help with.

well....there are three main OS's that we will ever see here...mac, windows, and linux....being that MOST of our traffic is windows...it get's the biggest forum....we don't have nearly as many MAC questions as we do linux questions...so one could assume that the majority of the questions in the "other operating systems" forum would be linux related questions...now if you're suggesting breaking up linux even further by distro....that's just WAY too much work (have you counted distros lately?) and not needed...

no i did not mean to break up them into distros, i meant just have a forum MAC and another one Linux.

We dont get alot of mac questions and usually people are kind enough to mention it in the heading. Thats probably one of our lowest traffic forums so its a little un needed to have that extra level of complexity.

We have so few questions in that area, there's just no justification for breaking it up further. If we were inundated with one or the other on a regular basis, then we would certainly look at splitting them. :blink:
