Explorer error?

Hi friends,this is my first post.. when i m surfing the net in opera or IE ,many times the colors of the explorer title bar,menu,buttons,etc get distorded(some black lines appears), the opened pages become blank,explorer error msg comes and then the pc hangs up..plz tell me what to do..hope my 1st post get solved.. thanks in advance...
