Seems they are just trying to milk some cash out of the big player on the market when you got a pie that big everyone wants a slice.

The way the mickey mouse courts in the US work the guy with the most cash wins so i dont doubt MS will get what they want in the end its just gonna take more time and be a bigger annoyance to customers.

They were allready told by the EU on the PDF thing adobes argument is crap and that adobe should basically grow up. They cant liscence to MS competitors for free then expect them to pay, so they are etheir going to back down or have to kill OO by charging them as well as MS for the tech.

I agree Scot,
For such a large and established company, Adobe are acting like babies... How the [bleep] do you let other companies do the same thing for free and then when MSFT tries to do the same, they object. Ironically if Microsoft refuses to honor the PDF format in their products going forward, Adobe would whine and moan as well...
