Hello,

I was burning some data onto a cd-rw and as usual, it kept crashing which causes the cd-drive to lock until i reboot the computer.

This time I received a BSOD says:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x0000000A

I boot the computer into safe mode and left it a few minutes and then restarted the computer which worked and it went back to normal mode.

Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Thank you

I think it may have been the CD-RW drive.

I pressed the button twice to open it when the computer was booting (I meant to press it 1 time :whistling: ) and then the BSOD came up.

Any other help on this would be much appreciated

Items in blue which are underlined are clickable to give more information about the process

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on right for storage / optical drives

Look at the manufacturer’s site for a firmware update for the CDRW Drive and your Operating System

If you are unable to find it, please post the make and model here before you download anything

Please set a system restore point before you install anything
