Hello, I've just got a quick question. My friend's PC (Running Windows XP) was working fine tonight but her nephew tripped over the power cord twice and unplugged it each time. When we went to restart the PC, it gets to the desktop and then it goes right back to the "Saving Settings" screen and then logs off. It then tries to log back in to XP and then does the same thing over. I tried booting it in safe mode and it does the same thing. I'm not sure what could of caused this, it was working just fine before it was shut off. I'm not sure if a surge could of caused something to happen or what, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
