sorry i dont know where to post this but i have a question...when i turn off my monitor and its all black i see this
weird shape

Pull the power lead to monitor to clear residual magnetic field (degaussing)
More likely the shape has been etched or burned into the phospher by continuous display on, thats why we have moving screensavers

that is a bit early for burn-in, though....and that is not nearly the issue it was once.

I'm not saying you're wrong---that was my first guess too, just odd

I was kind of wondering if somehow moisture got in between the glass and the aperature grill


Course, that seems even more improbably, doesn't it...

i dont think its a burn in its a little scratch but i dont know why the shape is like that, the monitor still displays normal...and what moving screensaver would you recommend and how many minutes?

i prefer the screensaver that simply turns the monitor off after 10 minutes
