Who made your PC?

That looks like an MSI, but an unbranded one for system manufacturers

Or are you suggesting for me to install the updates? well im doing that now.
I think it might have to do with my USB slots but there are no updates for XP.

Whoever told you to update your drivers must of told you which ones. Audio, video or chipset. That link is the the manufacturers driver download section. Id run all the drivers, just in case they are newer than yours, mostly they are harmless.

Id say dont touch the bios, but only cuz I'd feel guilty if it broke on you. I never had a problem with a bios update.

PS. Maybe I missed the theme of the post. I thought you wanted to know where to download the drivers.

please describe "playing up"

what do you mean by that?

I would be reluctant to update the bios unless we are certain that the bios is for your motherboard.

I agree, it does sound like the MSI 661FM2-V Series, but the fact is not stamped tells me this board might be a special board for a mass produced system, which could have been modified.

Which drivers did you use?

You ran an everest report, but it was not the full report..Can you attach that?

I took the computer to a mate of mine and he said it was the BIOS, i told him i don't want to because it could put my computer at risk. So i know it's the bios now.

Thanks for you're time :whistling:
