:whistling: Hi.

Can someone guide me on how to secure my internet connection. I have a d-link router (one antenna), a 3Com Home Connect modem and I'm running XP with service pack two. I have two computers and one laptop network. I've been using the network since December with no problems but last night I noticed that someone else was on the network. I would like to secure the connection so that no one else can have access to my connection.

Thanks for your help.

read your router's manual for instructions on setting up the security on the wireless connection....you can use wep, WPA, or MAC Address filtering to accomplish this (usually a combination of one of the two encryption schemes{wep and wpa} and mac filtering is concidered bulletproof)
