I need help. I have windows XP, and there are multiple viruses on my computer. None of the programs I have run can repair the viruses. I cannot log onto the internet using that computer ( my home computer), because every time I get to the sign on screen, it freezes. I have tried running the anti-virus programs with System Restore turned off, in Safe mode, etc etc. I have tried Mcafee, AVG, Xoft, and multiple other programs. Mcafee doesn't even read that I have infected files. The other programs bring up the message saying that I have infected files, and that they are trojans, but they cannot repair or get rid of the viruses.

I have Norton, but it needs to be updated, and since I cannot log onto the internet using that computer, that has become a bit of a problem. Everything else is ok, except that the computer runs slow, and I cannot sign onto AOL, or MSN.

Any input would be extremely helpful.

Thankyou very much.
