i added a hard drive and did the 'western digital data tools' thing to make it
the boot drive. it shows that it copied everything over to the new drive but,
it shows the old 'c' drive as still the boot drive. 'c' is the primary master, and
f/g/h is the primary slave. it says in a note that 'tools' won't allow me to change
anything in the boot drive. i want the new drive to be the boot. how can i be sure
the new drive is being used for boot? i would like to clear the old disk.
oh yeah, there is a 'd' drive in there too, and i don't know if i'm supposed to transfer
that over, also. i just want the pictures and stuff i do from now on to be in the bigger
drive.
i'm pretty good at following instructions, even if i don't know what or why
i am doing a particular step.
thanks for any suggestions.
btw, i'm one of the folks they write those 'for dummies' books for, i only wish
they didn't make them so technical and difficult to use. ya know?
again, thanks for any suggestions.
