Hi there, thank you for reading my problem.

Since I got a new motherboard with DualCore, I get systemhangs on the boot of the hardware and WinXP.
When I turn on the pc, it boots immediatly, no delays.
But in WinXP it hangs on the Welcome screen...
Then when I reboot, the machine hangs on the idle state for about 4-5 seconds and then continues to boot again.
The hardware lag is something from my mobo, I think I gave it a nudge when I installed it into my new case... So there isn't much to do about that.

The software hangings are just annoying and I don't know how to fix that.

System specs:

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe <-- With BIOS DualCore-enabled version.
AMD Athlon 64, 4400+ ×2 @2431 Mhz.
2 gigs ram (2×512 Kingston, 2×512 Corsair) <-- same from previous machine
186 gig SATA HDD <-- same from previous installation -- C:/
74.5 gig IDE HDD <-- same from all installations I had (9) -- D:/
EAX 300 SE ATI card, 128 MB RAM PCI-E

If you need more information about the software, ask me and please tell me how to get that information.
-TIA-
