Hey today my brother downloaded (without my full knowledge and consent) the new Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2. Here is my question--it appears to be a "smarter" browser and says that my current security settings are putting my computer at risk, and if I just give it the word it will fix it all for me the way it wants it to be. Since WHEN does Microsoft think I trust them to just make decisions for me about the software I use???? So here is my question in several parts. I had my settings just the way one of the wonderful techies here told me to make them and I am wondering if a) Internet Explorer changed anything when it installed and b) if I should let it change the settings the way it wants them to or not? There is no option to tell me "This is what we think is a bad idea and this is what we think you should change about it" it's either "let me edit the options" or "let Internet Explorer make it better". :whistling:
