I have created a document in Microsoft Word and no longer need the document.
I note the the document is still listed in the file menu of Word.

Is there any way to delete this document from this list????

Thanks,
Tim

Open Word, click tools, options, general tab, clear the tick for recently used file list click OK, replacing the tick is optional, though if the entries are set at 4, opening 4 documents should also shift it from the list
