For a while now, I have experienced trouble in those 3 programs. In iTunes, it will run for a while, then come up with this error:

The memory could not be "written."

But once I click OK, it appears again, then I click OK once more, and the program shuts down, and the error message goes away. When I start it up again, it works fine for a while, then the error will come up again, usually in 2-3 hours.

In Jedi Academy, it has been running fine as of late, however, it will run for a while, then come up with this error message:

Visual C++ Runtime Error!

program terminated abnoramlly

Then it shuts the program down. Also, I experience CPU Lockups while playing that game, yet I don't when I plug my hard drive into my Dad's Computer and run it from there. My computer locks up for about a minute, then it stutters and starts going again.

And in NHL 2006, the graphics are severly messed up, little white bars appearing everywhere.

Additionally, I have been experiencing crashes, where my computer restarts itself. When it comes back up, it just tells me that it has recovered from a serious error, yet it doesn't tell me what caused it.

Here is my HiJack this log:

didn't see anything that stood out in the log. I would download and run memtest x86 and test your memory. Its possible you have developed a bad stick of memory.

I passed it 16 times, so, I don't think it's that, :/ But it does have everything that points to a memory fault. Jedi Academy continuously allocates memory, up to 900mb. I have 1 gig. Still having trouble.. ??

ok, well thats a good sign so far. your issue is one that can take several steps to rule out.

Have you run a full scandisk on your hard drive? from the gui you will need to select both check boxes. from command line just run cmd, then type in "chkdsk c: /r". either way you will need to restart your pc for the checkdisk to run.

Well, I'm not getting that error anymore, but only because JKA locks up my computer, and I cannot play unless I press the start button to get out of the game.

It's taking up 99 CPU all the time. :/

have you cleaned out your pc? often if the fans get full of dust and dirt the system will overheat causing similiar issues.

are all of your fans in good working condition?

What are your system specs?

I cleaned it out a while ago, but I'll clean it out again. All of my fans are running fine, and my system specs are in my profile.

I used a factory CD first, but I had the error, so I assumed it was corrupt. So I downloded one, and tried that, but still got the error.

Ok, I reformatted my computer, and installed Windows Media Center 2005. I'm not getting the errors anymore, but I'm also not running that smooth in JKA. Could just be my processor. I'm going to install NHL 2006 to see how it goes.
