did u take those temps under no loading?

if so 63 degress is really hot do not run anythign intensive until you can cool that baby down!!!

what cooling set up do u have in your case? (how many fans)

63 C is really hot just think when u are playig games or just loading teh CPU those temps could rise to anywhere near 75 degress you could seriously damgae your CPU or even your motherboard.

try getting some air into your case. what case do u have? or is it generic?

well how big is this "one big fan" :whistling:

if its big and not doing its job i would buy a replacement straight away!

not really sure about good cases it's up to personal choice as far as looks go, but good airflow is extreamly important in a case

my case is a centurion 5 its not that crash hot as far as looks go but cooling it is exelent it has a complete mesh front!
on my case i have an intake fan (80mm) blowing cool air across the HDD's and a monstor 120mm exhaust fan blowing out the hot air.

does the fan on your CPU blow air down towards the processor or up away from it?

here are some good ones i found on newegg (guessing that its an LGA 775 socket):
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835118115
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835106061
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835128009
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835128012

and theres heaps more have a look on that site there are some good ones.

i also noticed that your GPU temp is extreamly high aswell my suggestion would be to buy a new case and trasnfer everything over to that if both your CPU and GPU temps are high i would change the case you arent getting enough cool air circulating around.

i will have a look on newegg and post back with some links

i am surprised you havent done more damage with temps that high!!!

heres ome random cases i have choosen mainly for cooling if you dont like the style thats fine they are only suggestions :whistling:

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811144151 (good but would slap a 120mm fan on the back)

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811144125 (comes wiht a decent power supply)

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811133154 (bit pricey, no PSU)

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811133132 (no PSU)

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811133143 (bit pricey)

thermaltake are good case that allow pleanty of airflow and are good to upgrade

heaps more but not all the time in the world to look at em

its probably your CPU overheating. If you are going to get a new case I would buy either a new PSU already braided or buy a braiding kit also get some round IDE cables as ribbon cables can keep stop the airflow in the case. Its cheaper to buy a new fan and heatsink but a decent one.

Oh is it a packard Bell by any chance because I know they have only the CPU fan no case fan and it has a vent on the side of the case. they are rubbish those coolers. There not that hard to install you will need to spread thermo grease on the CPU though. look it up on the net if your not sure how to.
