one of my friends has a problem i have never seen on a computer..all is inverted so he can only read it with a mirror...he has tried to format with a win98 boot disk but even dos is inverted and it wouldn't format..he has succeeded in re-installing win xp but the result is the same..all is inverted...has somebody any idea what could provoke such a thing? a boot virus or dos virus, graphic card or??

I've never heard of anything like that either. I looked on sarc.com and couldn't find any BIOS viruses that did that (although they could), so I'd suspect a bad video card.
