Okay I think I have managed to get rid of this but for some reason my system seems like it is thrashing now much harder than it used to. Maybe it is just me but I don't know? Here is my new log:

I do not recommend fixing anything else with HiJack This until someone is able to analyze your log. Unfortunately, there are a couple of valid entries that you "fixed". Let me find out if there is any way to get them back...

"gcASCleaner.exe is a process belonging to the Giant/Microsoft AntiSpyware product. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated."

I could just reinstall the microsoft anti-spyware program. No biggie there. I did not do anything to that gcASCleaner.exe entry I do not know why it is not showing up on my second log. Thanks for noticing that though!

Click Here download the latest version of Hijack This (1.99.1). It's better able to catch the latest threats.

Make sure you are disconnected from the Internet and that all programs and windows are closed. Run HiJackThis. Place a checkmark next to the following items, then click FIX CHECKED

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://my.myway.com/
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://my.myway.com/
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NetMeter] C:\Program Files\NetRatingsNetmeter\NetMeter\NielsenOnline.exe

Reboot in Safe Mode. you can do this by continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

Be sure you're able to VIEW HIDDEN FILES
