Hi everyone!!
I have had this laptop for a very long time.....never really took the time in how to use the laptop.
I have maded plans to take a trip, and would like to use it. I never used the batteries, not sure how it works....I have an AC adapter but the batteries do not charge, I have seen battery charges on ebay....are they 2 different things? Do I need a battery charger as well as AC adapter? Also what do I need to go on line away from home? I only have dail-up at home...(no other service where I live....but satilite) My laptop has a card and I can go on line at home. All in all....what do I need to setup my laptop for the trip?
I'm sorry for being real dumb. I like my big computer better.

Deborah -

You said that you have the a/c adapter for the laptop yet the batteries wont charge?
I suspect that the batteries are no longer holding a charge and need to be replaced.
Theres places ( like Ebay ) or others (look on google ) that sell new batteries.

Replace the battery, let it charge overnight using your AC adapter and you should be good to go.
