I have a Dell I8100 laptop that I am replacing the original Geforce2 video card with an ATI Radeon 7500 card. I have downloaded the driver from Dell's download site although I am not sure that is the driver I will end up with.

The question I have is do I also need to change the video BIOS? When I was at the Dell download site I noticed a download for video BIOS for the driver. I am thinking that since the current video BIOS is for the Geforce2 card if I replace that one with a different card, then the video BIOS should be changed as well to be compatible with the new card.

Does anyone have any suggestions and/or comments that would be helpful?

thanx in advance...
