:D
can any one please help me. My son has just lost all files on his computer.
The reason for this is because he was on the internet and his system crashed. when he got it working again instead of system restore he did system recover.
Is there anyway i can get his system back to how it was before the crash ?

cheers

Welcome curwen6 :D

Unfortunately no <_< . If everything is gone a destructive recovery was performed. This is designed to remove everything from the hard drive by formatting, and then reinstalling the programs that came with the computer.

Data can often be recovered from an accidental format, but once new data is written to the drive it's very unlikely anything will be recovered.
