Norton software is so invasive and bogs down computers that it should be considered malware. It often requires a special uninstaller to finally get rid of it on many systems.

I believe you would be much better off using the free AVG antivirus/email scanner and the free ZoneAlarm firewall. They are at least as good as Norton suite and much lighter on system resources.
