I hope I can describe this the right way. If anyone knows what happened or how to retrieve the files, you guys will.

I have three drives. C, D, and G. I had a My Documents on the G drive but I always get a Windows Explorer error message so I decided to copy everything in the Documents folder and move it to the D drive. So I copy and pasted it onto the D drive. When I finally looked in My Documents, I noticed some very important Word documents missing. I did a search and I found an old version I saved back in December but not the latest version I saved a week ago.

I downloaded Easy Recovery Professional and GetDataBack for NTFS. I ran checks on all the drives and found documents I haven't seen in a long time and don't care if they are deleted or not but I can't find those two files at all. Does anyone know how I can get them back?

I haven't a clue how I lost them in the first place. :whistling:
