No restart

I have a dell dimension 4400. When I do a restart from the shutdown menu the computer logs out of windows and shuts down. However it won't restart itself. If i press the power button it starts back up just fine. I don't know why it won't restart itself automatically. Please help :whistling:

do start > run > cmd
then type
shutdown -r -t 00

does the system restart or just power off?

It just powers off
