Computer lagging lately

Hi i am lagging lately and i did not install any things lately but i jus couldn't find wat is the thing tat is making my com lag and i get lag even surfing the net and not only playing games. So is there a way to stop the lag. hope to hear from u soon

Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit then select all, right click any file then click delete, confirm delete

Click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc clean up

Reboot

Click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc defragmenter
