i went to nero infotools and clicked on the aspi tab and it says that the system aspi is not installed but the nero aspi is installed and working properly what is the system apsi all about. Ive been having probelms with my LG cd/dvd combo burner not reading blank cdrs, does this have something to do with the aspi?

Read it carefully as it can explain many things about aspi and how it works with the different OS's.
