[COLOR=purple][SIZE=7]hello my friends computer has just stopped working when they boot up they get this message NTLDR file missing, one does anyone know what could have happened and two is there something they can do to get the computer to boot from the CD drive as F8 is not working please help thank you :tazz:

To make the PC boot from CD you have to go into into the BIOS setup and change the first boot device to CD-ROM, then re-boot with the XP CD in the drive. You should be able to get into the BIOS setup by holding down the DEL key while the PC is booting up.
