Can some one please tell me if any of the registry fixers or programs really works. I installed a program, PC Might Max and it pops up all the time saying that I've got 1800 problems that urgently needs to be repaired

Can you run through this, when you get to registry clean up, make a note of the number of errors, close tune up without fixing anything, post the number of errors

Reboot

Run Tune Up registry clean up

Disable the anti virus programme then click Optimize and Improve to run Reg Defrag, the screen will lose colour during the process which can take a few minutes and then needs a reboot

Check the anti virus programme is running

Those will have cleared the drive of obsolete software errors
