Hi,

I've been trying persistently to solve a problem I have for a while now. I've run a whole series of anti-virus & spyware programs, spyboy, ad-aware, AVG, microsoft anti-spyware, Xsoft...but nothing seems to be getting rid of this.

It doesnt affect any other site or action (as far as I can tell), except clicking on the links Google returns from performing a search...it will immediatley redirect me to a random site. Google images searches are fine, links from other sites are fine..everything is fine except seraching with Google.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is proving to be a tough one!

Thanks,

Sasha :whistling:

Hey there Sasha P, welcome to Geeks To Go Forums.

This may not be a malware related problem, but it sounds like it may. I am going to send you to the malware forum to make sure you get cleaned up, once you have got cleaned up and the problem still persists, post back here in this thread so I can continue helping you. Also please post a link to the thread you make in the malware forum so I can keep track of your problem.

Please read this: Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log (Click on the link)

That will give you steps that will help you clean up 70% of the problems yourself. Then please download "Hijackthis" and run Hijackthis with log. Save the log file here: Malware Removal - HiJackThis Logs Go Here

When you have followed all these steps. A Geeks To Go Staff Member will help you fix your problem.

(Note: Please be patient, the "Malware Forum" is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual.)

Thank you and goodluck. :whistling:
